GCBS - BAY SWIM 2008:
CURRENT ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES - SEE CURRENT WATER CONDITIONS-TEMPERATURE . . .
 

If you picked up your entry packet for either of the events, but did not participate or finish, you are still financially responsible for the return of the WinningTime chip & timing band. 
The loss/replacement fee is $25. 
Yes, all returned bands are scanned for proper return credit of all assigned timing bands. 
NOTE:  ALL SWIMMERS ARE COUNTED/SCANNED BY WALKING OVER RECEIVER MATS PRIOR TO ENTERING THE BEACH AREA FOR RESPECTIVE SWIM STARTS.
THAT COUNT MUST =
1.  Finishers
2.  DNF (did not finishers, who are pulled or voluntarily are pulled from the water,
3.  All swim caps are counted from the DNF's ALONG WITH THEIR ANKLE TIMING BANDS.
4. This counted is continually reported by U.S. COAST GUARD-Command Com to Lin-Mark (timers) who record each and every  finisher and those who do not finish. That count must equal all starters.

NOTE:  If you recently changed events, dropped from either swim and still see your name on your original entrants listing note that due to the number of daily updates we are NOT currently updating the posted entrant's lists.  In all instances you would have rec'd. an email confirmation.  Also, please check your spam listing as many times our emails (including some of the entrant's email to us, go to the spam filtered listing.  This is something you should check regularly prior to deleting those message.
