on Sat. 9/20 at 11:00am . . .

• Entire venues for both the triathlon & duathlon are now ocean side
  based and not on the bay as last year:

  Triathlon & Duathlon:  MAIN TRANSITION LOCATION:  
  Beach Haven School, back parking lot. 
  Between 8th & 7th Streets.  Transition area faces Long Beach Blvd.  Front of the school between 8th & 7th Streets, faces Beach Ave.,
  Beach Haven, NJ
   

• 1.  Swim:  1/4 Mile Ocean Swim
  2.  Bike:  1 large 8.41 Mile Bile Loop.  No repeat loops. 
  3.  5K Final Run:  1 Large ocean-side based run loop on the road.
       No repeat loops.
  4.  Duathlon's 1st Run will be an out & back 2 mile run consisting of
       1 mile each way on the road (first mile of the final 5K run).
  5.  Entire venue will now be based at the Beach Haven School
       between 7th &  8th Sts. and the Blvd. (back of the school),
       with the front (finish line) on Beach Ave.
  6.  Racking of the bikes and all transitions will be in the large
       parking lot behind and connected to the school.
  7.  Packet pick-up, check in, awards, refreshments will again all be   conducted in the Beach Haven school auditorium:  
  Sat. 9/20 (Noon to 5:00 p.m.)  --   Race Day-Sun. 5:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
  
                --->>Sat. Kid's 1 Mile Run Start: 11:00 a.m. 
                      Start and Finish is at the Beach Haven School.
               Kid's Fun Run Only:   entry/packet pick up at:  10 a.m.
   
  Sun. 9/21:  Triathlon & Duathlon Start Time:  7:40 a.m. immediately following the pre-race meeting in front of the school near the finish line. 
                               
  8.  Finish Line:  will be in the street- Beach Ave.,  directly in front of the school's main entrance.
       MAIN TRANSITION LOCATION:  Beach Haven School,
       back parking lot. Between 8th & 7th Streets. 
  Transition area faces Long Beach Blvd. Front of the school
  between 8th & 7th Streets, faces Beach Ave., Beach Haven, NJ
  
  9.  All participant and visitor parking will be mandatory in the sports complex, public parking area where the event was conducted last year:
  Community Sports & Public Parking Lot:  just off of Bay Ave. (aka Long Beach Blvd.): at the Taylor Avenue Ball field, 9th Street & Taylor Avenue, Beach Haven (across from Bay Village & Schooner's Wharf)
   

• 10.  Because of the larger course capacity, and bike rack area we anticipate permitting:

• 550 entrants this year (this is a new update & entrant count. -- Enter now to avoid closeout.  Last year many were closed out.
  11.  Be aware that this event closed out during the summer in its inaugural presentation.  We expect that it will once again close out in 2008.      

Be ready for first class competition. An excellent sprint event for athletes &
spectators in a beautiful resort area.

    Only eligible for an Overall Award in this division no dups.
    no age group.
    This males & female wave group goes off first in
    the swim starts. 
    TO ENTER THIS WAVE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING RACE TIMES:

    MALES & |FEMALE:	Swim 1 Mile within 25 mins.
    	Bike Average 20-22 m.p.h.
    	Run 1 Mile in 5:30 to 6:30
