Location:
Beach Haven School - Auditorium
School is located between 7th & 8th Street
Front of the school is on Beach Avenue
Back of the school fenced parking lot is for the
Main Transition Area,
backs onto Long Beach Blvd.
Auditorium - Front Side Entrance for race check-in, awards, refreshments

Mandatory Race Week-end Parking:
All participant and visitor parking will be
mandatory in the sports complex, public parking area
where the event was conducted last year.
Across Long Beach Blvd. from the back of the
school, within 2 blocks.
Community Sports & Public Parking Lot:
just off of Bay Ave. (aka Long Beach Blvd.):
at the Taylor Avenue Ballfield, 9th Street &
Taylor Avenue,
Beach Haven (across from Bay Village & Schooner's
Wharf)
7TH & 8TH STREETS on either side of the
school WILL BE SETTING UP FOR
RACE DAY TRANSITIONS AND CLOSED TO PUBLIC PARKING.

Packet pick-up,
check in, awards, refreshments will again all be
conducted in the Beach Haven school auditorium.

Sun. 5:00 a.m. to 6:30
a.m. |

RACE START TIMES: Sun. 9/21:
Triathlon & Duathlon Start Time:
7:40 a.m. -- immediately following the pre-race
meeting.

1. Must present
photo i.d. to receive your packet.
2. If a USAT member, must present your USAT
card or pay the $10 1-day ins. fee.
3. If your paid USAT membership card is
pending, must present your paid receipt,
with photo i.d.
4. Absolutely no selling, trading or giving
your race slot to another participant. You
will be barred from the event and break all
insurance & waiver rules of the event and USAT.
5. Event is 'RAIN OR SHINE".
The race director has the right to cancel any event
venue for the safety of all participants.
6. Inspection & racking of bikes permitted
& encouraged on Sat. 9/20
Noon to 5:00 p.m.
7. ELITE Bikes
will once again be our primary bike sponsor and on
site for all your mechanical needs.
8. It is highly recommended that if you
are in the area to check in on Sat. to avoid the
rush and lines on race morning.
9. Must
present your race number to be permitted to rack
your bike upon entering the fenced/secured
transition area.
SPECTATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED
INTO THE SECURED TRANSITION AREA: that means
PRIOR - DURING - OR AFTER THE RACE.
To
remove your bike & race materials you must present
your race number.
10. The lot will
be locked and no one permitted to enter after 6:00
p.m.
Sat. 9/20.
11. Racking of bikes
(must first get your race packet in the school
auditorium), opens at 5:00 a.m. on race morning,
9/21.
12. Pre-Race Day Meeting
in the school parking lot/main transition area
at 7:00 a.m. sharp!
13. First swim wave start - two blocks
away on 7th Street beach at 7:40 a.m. sharp!
EVERYONE: wear your assigned timing
band on either ankle. OK to wear either over
or under a wetsuit pant leg.
14. Duathlon Start
(one wave) will start in the street on the corner of
7th & Beach Ave. at 7:40 a.m.

Volunteers
always welcome!
Your Race Packets will include:
Triathletes-
- color wave assigned swim caps with your race day
number on it. MUST BE WORN.
Tri. & Du:
- Assigned
coded ankle timing band.
Must be worn
on your ankle.
- If you do not finish it must be returned to timer or
you will be charged the $20 loss fee (yes all are scanned
for return credit
after the race)
-Race Bib number USAT
rules state it
must be worn
ON THE FRONT
of your body and
not folded in
any manner.
-Bike Frame Numbers,
-Bike Number
ties,
-Helmet Number,
-Wrist ID
Band for access
to all athlete
venues.
